Holly Grove Christian School

7317 Mennonite Church Road, Westover, MD, 21871-0218
Holly Grove Christian School started in the fall of 1976 with nineteen students. For over 30 years Holly Grove Christian School has provided a quality education to the families of the Eastern Shore offering a traditional program for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. During those years we built seven times to handle the increase in enrollment; six of the seven building projects were built by volunteers. Today the buildings are all paid for because of people who sacrificed and gave willingly so that we can make an investment in the lives of students. In the ACSI regional competition, HGCS students win ribbons in the math, speech and science fair. We also have a strong music program. The Honors Choir and Junior High Choir participated in the ESCDA Choral Festival with all the public and private schools on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Holly Grove received the highest score of "ones" which won us an invitation to the State Choral Festival. The Elementary and Junior High Choirs also won first in a competition at Busch Gardens. Our Athletic teams are competitive. Many of our teams won games in league playoffs. Our mission statement says it all: "Holly Grove Christian School partners with families to provide excellence in Christ-centered academics by preparing students to live God honoring lives."

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
