School Notes Overview:
The Berkshire Hills School, located in the scenic hills of western Massachusetts, is a co-ed multi-grade elementary school. Good things come in small packages as you will see by a visit to our campus and classrooms. Berkshire Hills is a school where children can grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, Christian atmosphere. It is a place free from many of the stresses and bad influences so many children must face at school. Children are one of God's greatest gifts; a meaningful Christian Education is one of the greatest gifts we can give back. The Berkshire Hills School utilizes an educational plan which emphasizes the importance of Christian values. Physical, mental, and spiritual development are given equal emphasis to promote well rounded individuals. Creation based science and Bible principles are taught along with Reading, Spelling, Math, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music theory, and Art. A networked computer system contains educational software for math, language arts, typing, word processing, and spread sheets, which further supplements traditional classroom teaching. The Curriculum is also in harmony with the requirements of the State of Massachusetts for elementary schools. The mission of the Berkshire Hills Seventh-day Adventist School is to provide a Christ centered learning environment that leads elementary age students to Jesus and prepares them for a life of excellence and service....
