METHUEN — The Festival of Trees donated $98,450 to restore the Searles Bell Tower on the Presentation of Mary Academy campus and $25,000 to restore the historic city-owned wall along nearby Park Street.

Our Lady of Nazareth Academy wasn’t going to close without a fight. And it’s those who led that fight — to keep it open and to get the new location ready for this coming school year — that have most amazed Debbie Bain, who sits on the board of directors.
