Saint Vincent's provides for the educational needs of students within our Department of Education approved twelve-month K–12 school program. Students reside in home-like cottages on the campus and attend classes within our elementary, middle and high school programs. We offer small, structured classroom settings, which allow for individualized instruction to meet the diverse educational needs of our students to support their success in achieving learning goals as delineated in each student's Individual Education Plan. Saint Vincent's mission has been to provide a safe place for children in need to live. In the early days since its founding as on orphanage, Saint Vincent's provided a home for children whose parent(s) were unable to care for them due to the ill health or death of a parent, lack of financial means or other family challenges. Over the years, Saint Vincent's has adapted its programs and service delivery system to meet the changing needs of children and their families who are coping with a variety of difficulties, which include abuse, neglect, poverty, addictions, mental illness emotional and behavioral problems as well as challenges to learning.
