    HOUGHTON - The Daily Mining Gazette has announced a hire and promotion in the editorial department. Stacey Ashcraft was promoted from features writer/clerk to news writer, while Susanne Anderson replaces her as clerk. Ashcraft is a 2007 journalism graduate from Central Michigan University.
