Children's Ark Childcare is a Ministry of Springfield Christian Academy. The academy, a ministry of Dixie Baptist Church, was founded in 1972. Dr. Paul S. Vanaman opened SCA as a Christian day school that would prepare students for college so that those young people would grow to server the Lord Jesus Christ. With the Bible as our standard, our goal is to develop young men and women mentally, emotionally, physically, and most importantly, spiritually by providing the highest academic athletic, spiritual, and extracurricular activities.
