Calvary Christian School

Po Box 940, La Puente, CA, 91747-0917
Calvary Christian School is a private, Christian school that is making a difference in the lives of children and young people. Calvary Christian School was founded in 1981 to meet the needs of a growing church. The founding families firmly believed that a Christian school education was God’s plan for their children. The school successfully operated at the church location on Bruce St. in Woodbridge until September 2003. Sometime before, a member of the congregation generously donated a twenty-five acre parcel of land in Vaughn. Plans were set in place to develop the property. The congregation still believed strongly in the value of a Christ-centered school as evidenced by their desire to ensure a proper school facility would be erected on the new site. In fact, much of the building is used as a school facility with the church utilizing the gym area for the worship service on Sundays. The gym is a full-sized facility, in addition to the ten classrooms, a library, a computer lab and a Chapel. These facilities and the school program academically cover Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The present enrollment is 145 students, which is the highest in the history of school. To nurture academic excellence, and personal growth through Christ-centered education in partnership with parents.
