The Spotswood Drug and Alcohol Alliance Spotswood Family Day and Car Show is set for noon-4 p.m. Oct. 17 at Immaculate Conception School, Manalapan Road, Spotswood. Rain date is Oct. 18. The car show is sponsored by the Hollywood Nights Cruisers.

Car-wash proceeds to aid ICS Bulldogs (Suburban)

The Immaculate Conception School (ICS) junior high sports program, the ICS Bulldogs, will hold a fundraising car wash 8 a.m.-noon Oct. 3 in the Immaculate Conception Church parking lot, 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood. Cost is $8 for cars, $10 for trucks/vans/SUVs. Bulldog air fresheners will be available for $3.50 each or three for $9.

Oct. 2 • Spa for the Cure, a Pink Carpet event to benefit breast-cancer research and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 7 p.m.-midnight, at Elan MediSpa and Dermatology Center, 3663 Route 9 north, Old Bridge. Guests will walk the Pink Carpet. Hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, fashion show, silent auction, specially priced items, Pink Carpet photography session.
