Sacred Heart Academy
School Notes Overview:
Sacred Heart Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school, is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood to educate young women. Rooted in the mission of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are committed to bringing about union and reconciliation by awakening in our community an awareness of the unconditional love God has for all people. We strive through the highest academic standards to prepare and graduate Christian leaders who are mindful of the call to work for peace and justice in the world. As a community, we educate both the heart and the mind of our students through the values of hospitality, excellence, accountability, respect, reverence, truthfulness, and trust. Because Sacred Heart Academy is dedicated to carrying on the mission of Jesus, we respond to God's love calling us to be Christian disciples earnestly searching for truth. Sacred Heart Academy empowers our students to discover a deep self-awareness and to develop their gifts and talents to the fullest. We challenge our students to reach their potential: intellectually, spiritually, and socially. The rigorous academic program and broad range of extra-curricular activities offer students the opportunity to demonstrate excellence and leadership, community awareness and service. We seek to accomplish this in a supportive and safe environment....
