St. Joseph By The Sea High School

5150 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY, 10312-0103
St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School is a private Catholic school which exists to afford young men and women the opportunity to come to appreciate that every person has been created by God in His image and likeness, was redeemed by Christ, and is destined to become one with God. Here, education is the deliberate effort of the administration, faculty, and parents to assist our young people in the development of their spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic potential through instruction, discipline and example. We offer, therefore, an education rooted in Gospel values. We expect students to develop an awareness and sensitivity for these values and for the basic principles of American democracy by practicing them in their lives. Our ultimate goal is to help develop responsible persons who will use their virtues and talents in making the world a better place. In cooperation with the home, the church, and the state, we communicate knowledge, truth, and a sense of justice in order to give students the ability to exercise responsible choices in their lives.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
