School Notes:

Our low student-teacher ratios mean that WHHS students are actively engaged in their classes and encouraged to express themselves.  Lively round-table discussions enable students to delve deeply into both secular and Judaic studies content. WHHS students explore their intellectual curiosity and learn to think critically, skills essential in the college years to follow.  Our unique EDGE Program provides the opportunity for independent study and real-life experiential learning, helping students to explore and discover their personal and academic interests. WHHS continually strives to enhance its challenging curriculum in news way. Some examples include: Enhanced educational technology, with the assistance of teacher Rivke Pianko, recipient of the 2012 JEP Young Pioneers in Jewish Education AwardThe use of iPADs and cutting-edge interactive apps to enrich the core curriculumOur ongoing partnership with Brown University Pre-College On-line for our 11th grade honors’ studentsA new senior electives program, with diverse offerings such as Financial Accounting, Art History, and Constitutional Law.
