Burlington Day School
School Notes Overview:
Burlington Day School is an independent, nonsectarian, coeducational school which exemplifies excellence in education. Emphasizing a traditionally structured academic education, Burlington Day School seeks to maintain a relaxed small school atmosphere in which each student can develop individually in a climate of respect and understanding. Administration, staff, faculty, directors, and parents cooperate to establish an environment in which each student can experience positive growth intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Recognizing that education is a life long process involving the total person, we believe that our duty is to help prepare each student to embrace an ever changing world by providing a variety of experiences for achieving success. Furthermore, the BDS family treasures the concept of the independent school. The mission of Burlington Day School is to provide an academically challenging education to college-bound students and to maintain a small school enviornment where each can develop individually in a climate of respect and understanding....
