Minerva Area Christian School
School Notes Overview:
Since 1965, the aim of Minerva Area Christian School has been to provide children with essential academic instruction founded on the Word of God. This focus is the driving force behind our mission: Educating children for this life and for eternity. The majority of the instruction that students receive at Minerva Area Christian School takes place in the education wing on the grounds of the First Christian Church of Minerva. The education wing, which was constructed in 1962, was built with a focus on education, with classrooms designed for a school setting. As a chartered nonpublic school, Minerva Area Christian School's elementary and middle school classes offer children the necessary academic instruction that will be needed as students continue their education in high school and beyond. Furthermore, as a Christian school, every student receives daily biblical instruction, serving as a foundation for life on this earth and for eternity. Hence, the twofold mission of Minerva Area Christian School: Educating children for this life and for eternity. A planning committee within the church leadership had the foresight to envision the possibility of reaching the community through the ministry of a Christian school. Therefore, the architectural design of the building reflects an educational structure, conducive to an academic learning environment....
