ZANESVILLE - Bagpipes played and patriotic songs were sung in the bright sun of the afternoon as a lasting memorial was dedicated Sunday to a local soldier who gave all for his beloved country.

Kimberly White, daughter of Stephen and Gina White of Nashport and Becky S. White of Zanesville, has been named to the Dean's list for the winter quarter at the Ohio State University, main campus. Students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average for this achievement. This is the fourth straight quarter White has accomplished this honor.
