With the summer winding down, the school calendar is filling up quickly. Woodmore Junior high and high school picture day is scheduled for Aug. 20. The schedule is as follows: 1:45 p.m. -- junior high volleyball; 2:05 p.m. -- junior high cross country; 2:15 p.m. -- junior high cheerleading; 2:35 p.m. -- junior high football; 3:15 p.m. -- band; 3:45 p.m. -- volleyball; 4 p.m. -- girls soccer; ... - Dinner being held to benefit Jerhid Fegley (Fremont News-Messenger)

Woodmore fourth-grader Jerhid Fegley has had more than his share of challenging days. Some days are better than others, but each day he struggles to grow stronger. He has severe back spasms from small fractures along his spinal column. For the past several weeks, he has lived in the Intensive Care Unit and will remain there until his doctors can regulate his blood pressure.
