School Notes:
Saint Anselm School community strives to nurture the total child toward a life focused in Christ. We, the St. Anselm community, believe Catholic education begins with life in the heart of the family. The process of education, which includes parents, teachers, and students is founded on a shared commitment to the spiritual and academic growth of the child. It is our belief that the child, supported by the loving witness of a Christian faith community, will develop a lifelong active response to God's love. Believing in the uniqueness of each child, we are committed to creating an environment that empowers the students to participate in building the kingdom of God. Our curriculum is based upon individual graded courses of study written by the Diocese of Cleveland and approved by the State of Ohio. The curriculum includes a study of religion, mathematics, language arts, (English, spelling, handwriting and phonics for grades K-3), science, health, social studies, music, art, computer, health issues, human sexuality, and chemical abuse.
