The Bible study is a graded course and suited to the particular needs, interest and abilities of the children to whom it is presented. ZCS teaches the truths found in the Word of God and expressed by the elders in governing the ministries of Maranatha. Amanda Preslicka, a senior at Maysville High School, received a President's Award scholarship to attend the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD). The merit scholarship was awarded as a result of an art portfolio competition held at the college and judged by CCAD faculty members.

NEWARK - Zanesville Christian School shot a red hot 11 for 18 (61 percent) in the second half to put way the Licking County Christian Academy Eagles 55-28 in the finals of the Division II Buckeye Christian School Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
