Child Steps Is A Series Of Projects Designed To Build On The Latest Scientific Findings To Improve Mental Health Care For Children And Adolescents. Child Steps Has Been Put Into Action By The Network On Youth Mental Health, Whose Work Is Sponsored By Grants From The John D. And Catherine T. Macarthur Foundation. This Work Includes A Comprehensive Review Of The Evidence For The Effectiveness Of Various Mental Health Treatments For Children And Adolescents, And An Innovative Test Of Their Performance In Community Mental Health Settings. Child Steps Also Includes A Nationwide Evaluation Of The Clinics And Systems Through Which Mental Health Care Is Organized And Delivered. The Long-term Goal Is To Understand The Best Ways Of Designing, Training, And Supporting Best Practices For Youth Mental Health.
