Shalom Christian Academy
School Notes Overview:
Shalom Christian Academy is an independent K-12 Christian day school accredited by ACSI and MSA. Shalom Christian Academy exists as an organization to assist the home and the Church in the training of children and young people. God commands parents to instruct, train, and nurture children in the ways of the Lord. Thus the primary purpose of the school is to assist the home and the church in building the character of Christ in the hearts, minds, and souls of children, training them to become mighty in spirit by His Spirit. Intellectual, aesthetic, social and physical development are seen as secondary purposes which will be accomplished as children are taught that their spirits, directed by the Holy Spirit, must control their minds and wills, emotions, and bodies. As partners with parents in the educational process, teachers stand as delegated authorities, responsible before God to communicate the character of Christ and the truth of His Word to their students. The whole purpose of Christian education is to transform lives, bringing them into conformity with the mind and image of Christ....
