    He allegedly told them he and his six children were homeless, needed rent money. An Allentown man with a history of stealing from churches is now accused of taking or trying to take money from 10 Catholic churches, claiming in some cases that he and his six children were homeless.

    Gospel concert: Messiah Church, 110 Pittston Boulevard, Bear Creek Township, will be hosting the Blackwood Gospel Quartet on Friday at 7 p.m. at the church. Admission will be by ticket-only because of limited seating. Call the church office to obtain free tickets. A love offering will be received for the quartet. The Rev. Reginald H. Thomas is pastor.
