The Yocum Institute for Arts Education's mission is "To connect and enrich our community through arts education, creative performance and innovative programs. The Yocum Institute is a multidiscipline arts organization offering on-site instruction in Music, Voice, Theater and visual arts. It also has an Arts-Integrated Preschool and Kindergarten, an Art Gallery and a Black Box Theater.Accessibility to the arts is an important part of Yocum Institute programs which is reflected in extensive outreach programs made possible through partnerships with public & private schools, colleges and universities and county libraries and other non profits.
