Here is the transcript: It is my pleasure to welcome all parents, family, and friends to the Pee Dee Academy Class of 2012's graduation. Many of us have attended school together for the majority of our lives. The journey has been long, but it is now coming to a close as we begin another chapter of our lives. We couldn't have gotten this far without the support of our families, our friends, and of course, our teachers who not only taught us what we needed to learn for school, but helped prepare us to enter the real world on our own. We've come a long way from being the little kids on the playground to the kids in front of you today. But then again, we're not kids anymore, are we? I believe we grew up faster than we even realized. As we grew up, we put in years of hard work and dedication and all of that has finally paid off. Today is to celebrate what we've accomplished over the years. This day has been greatly anticipated, and now that it is finally here, it seems more bittersweet than anything else. We are now moving on with our lives and must go our separate ways. But in the words of Richard Bach, "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
