Lauren Avant has waited a long time for this week. JONESBORO — Arkansas State University announced Thursday that alumni and longtime supporters Scott and Kay Dawson of Memphis have made a $250,000 donation to the Red Wolves’ athletic department, which matches the second largest gift in the department’s history.
