School Notes:

Woodway Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Churchof Woodway, opened in 1993. Our school seeks to educateeach child by balancing faith, academics and extracurricularactivities through a holistic approach. We serve students from Preschool through the 8th grade. The curriculum at WCS is Christ-centered and challenging. We want your child to be able to think creatively, developgood study habits, solve problems, and develop goodlanguage skills. This is accomplished through selecting thebest instructional materials available from secular andChristian publishers to reach our overall goals. Our small classroom environment enables teachers to meetthe unique needs of each student through a hands-onapproach to instruction. As a result, Woodway ChristianSchool students rank in the top 16% nationwide on theITBS. Ultimately, our goal is to equip each child academicallyand spiritually so that they can reach their full potential andachieve their God-given purpose in the world.
