School Notes Overview: |
The Marin Waldorf School strives to become a center for education and the arts, serving to strengthen and expand the community that we serve. We intend to do this by providing: a full pre-K through 12th Grade Waldorf curriculum that nurtures and develops body, soul and spirit; a full education support program including: extra lessons, therapeutic eurythmy, speech, art therapy, Anthroposophical medicine and others; after-school care, holiday and summer programs; early childhood and pre-natal education; adult enrichment and professional development programs for educators; cultural events to be shared by the broader community; and scholarships and tuition assistance to ensure diversity of community. We seek to own a facility that nourishes the physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs of the Marin Waldorf School Community, allowing interdependence with the natural world. ...read more
