Fredericksburg Academy is an independent, nonsectarian school that offers a challenging college-preparatory program in a nurturing learning environment. One hundred percent of our graduates are accepted to four-year colleges and universities. Small class sizes (14 students maximum in PK-3, 16 students maximum in PK-4 and kindergarten, 18 students maximum in other grades) and individualized attention are FA hallmarks. Student-teacher ratio is 7:1. We enroll almost 400 students from Prekindergarten-3 through Grade 12 on a 45-acre campus, which includes two academic buildings, a Sports Center with a gymnasium and a pool, two libraries, a 413-seat theater, five playing fields, four tennis courts, a cross-country trail, and two playgrounds. Signature programs include Responsive Classroom (Lower School), Global Explorers (Middle School), and Senior Exhibit (Upper School).

School Reviews:
February 28,2012 - The quality of the educational environment and student - teacher interactions are exceptional. The teachers at all levels enjoy teaching and it shows in the students excitement about the school. Our daughter has been enrolled since Kintergarten and is now a sophmore. The positive environment and coaching show in the young lady she is becoming. We are proud of her and thank the faculty at Fredericksburg Academy.*-Posted by Parent *
