MARINETTE, Wis. - The H1N1 influenza, previously referred to as the swine flu, has spread to northern Wisconsin. Marinette County Public Health Director Mary Mursau announced the first confirmed case of H1N1 influenza in a Marinette County resident on Tuesday. The individual, a high school student at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Marinette, was cared for at home and has recovered.
