St. John XXIII Catholic School (SJ23) provides a foundation of Catholic values and academic excellence for its students in preschool through 8th grade. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to building a strong academic, social, emotional, and spiritual foundation for our students.

Today, St. John XXIII Catholic School (SJ23)provides a
faith-based education option for almost 200 students. Together,
with the support ofSt. John XXIII Catholic Parish, our school
functions as a parochial school option for students in northern
Ozaukee County.
We are blessed with a giving and involved parent community. Our
parents are the heart and soul of our school culture and the engine
driving our high academic and spiritual standards, family
enrichment events, co-curricular clubs, and overall vision of our
school. Our parents show their children they are interested in
their day-to-day school life and value our larger school community
by helping with homework, volunteering in the classroom, sharing a
hobby or skill, coaching a sport, attending school events, and by
volunteering their time to make our school community better.
SJ23`s rigorous, integrated, hands-on philosophy promotes
differentiated instruction, encourages creative expression,
promotes critical thinking, and provides students with the
opportunity to obtain skills needed to be successful, compassionate
learners for the future. Our curriculum based on science,
technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) engages students of
all academic levels. It promotes a deeper understanding of
real-world concepts and helps students to become critical thinkers,
thoughtful listeners, and effective speakers. SJ23`s co-curricular
environment allows differentiated instruction and encourages
creative expression as students develop socially, intellectually,
emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Service, Discipleship, & Communityis what we are
about.All students in K - 8th grade participate in weekly
Mass or prayer services and numerous service projects throughout
the year. Students also participate in retreats, work in the the
St. Peter`s Food Pantry, serve at St. Ben`s, and serve in many
other areas of our local and global communities. Middle-school
students are required to fulfill a fixed number of service hours
each year.
