Children are our future, and they add great meaning to our lives. At our school, we feel that children and the child’s environment should be treated with the greatest possible respect. We believe classrooms should be exciting and thriving environments, providing opportunities for endless exploration – environments that are alive and calling the child to his or her best ability. We believe in exceptional teachers, dedicated to the developmental needs of the whole child, who will challenge children to actively pursue their interests while developing respect for the environment, other people and other cultures. We believe that growth is an orderly, predictable and sequential process and that learning is a life-long continuum; each stage of development is preparation for the next. Therefore, we seek to take each child from their unique point on the continuum and move them forward, developing a healthy sense of self and an inner quest for knowledge.
