Happy Children's Montessori School is a Christian Montessori school for children ages 3 to 6 years. Our goal is to provide a program which helps each child to grow academically, socially and spiritually. The Montessori program is a hands-on, individualized program in which children are encouraged to learn at their own pace in the areas which interest them most. Other important skills learned in a Montessori classroom are self-directedness, concentration and focusing skills, a strong sense of responsibility, respect for oneself, one's environment and the people in one's environment. The social part of the program encourages children to use respectful conflict resolution skills with one another. We use grace and courtesy lessons to teach manners, proper handling of materials, respect of one's classmate's work and work space and respect of the environment.
