WGCS ministers to the whole child by providing academic excellence in a small Christian learning environment.  WGCS is accredited by the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS).  Our students' standardized test scores average 2.7 grade levels higher than the national average.Founded in 2001 on the principle of a small Christian learning environment, our mission is to respect each student’s learning style.  Our class sizes are just the right size. Average class has 10 or less students with no more than 13 in each class. Our board is committed to a low student-teacher ratio in order to maximize individual instruction and attention. WGCS is a Kindergarten through 12th Grade school with AP, Honors and College Prep classes offered at the High School level. All K-5th graders take part in Art, Music, Computers, P.E. and Spanish in addition to their core classes. School is in session ten months of the year, four days each week, 8:00 a.m.- 2:45p.m, with no school on Fridays. Our teachers, staff and administration see their role at WGCS as a calling, not just a job.  Each has a heart for Christ and for the families that walk through the doors of WGCS.  Encouraging students to achieve their full potential academically, socially and spiritually, for the growth of God's kingdom, is the goal of WGCS teachers and administrators.
