School Notes:
Eagles Nest Academy opened its doors in August 1993 as Eagles Nest Preschool. As a Christian Classical School, we hope to offer students the opportunity to participate in all areas of the Trivium. The Trivium is part of an educational system modeled after God’s designed development of children, and it consists of Grammar (Elementary), Logic (Jr. High), and Rhetoric (High School). At this time ENA is primarily a Pre-Kindergarten and Grammar school, and has begun the development of its Logic school. Our Pre- Kindergarten is a highly academic program that teaches children to love the Bible and learn to read. Our Grammar program gives students the foundational information used in the rest of their educational process through biblical and academic memory work, advanced literature and mathematics, a chronological historical study, and a thorough understanding of our language through the extensive study of Latin. In all grade levels we desire to give students a love of learning through the exploration of all God’s creation. All teachers seek to disciple and care for students in a way that would display the love Christ exemplifies through the Scriptures. We desire to impart good study habits so students will be prosperous in all their endeavors. Most of all, we hope to teach children that learning is not mainly for the pursuit of academic knowledge, but primarily to have a closer relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
