    The Illinois Math & Science Academy's Liz Martinez passed out plastic bags filled with vials of what she assured her class was "simulated spit" and "not the real thing."   The bags also contained instructions and information cards to complete an experiment to determine the carrier of a mock disease similar to the H1N1 flu virus, Martinez said.
