Abercorn International School

601 Ranch Road 620 S, Austin, TX, 78734
Abercorn International School is one of a family of three private schools with a collective track record of providing exemplary education for more than thirty years. Abercorn School in London was established in 1987, more recently The British International School of New York opened its doors in 2006, and our Austin school opened in 2010. Our shared mission is to provide the best of private international education in a setting that is safe, nurturing and stimulating.

At Abercorn International School we offer Mandarin and Spanish to all our students, and our low pupil-to-teacher ratios across the school facilitate our practice of customizing our curriculum around each child, never the other way around.

The teaching staff at Abercorn International School develop multi-culturally astute individuals who are independent thinkers, articulate, compassionate and filled with a strong sense of curiosity.

Tremendous emphasis is placed on courtesy, good manners, confidence and self-esteem. This is evident even in our very youngest learners and is instilled in every student along with the values of persistence, fortitude, endeavor and integrity, our four pillars of aspiration that underpin everyday life at our school. We feel these values provide the foundation for helping to create a generation of children prepared and motivated to make a real difference in the world.

Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
