Strong Rock Christian School, established in 2007, is an independent college preparatory Christian day school whose mission is to glorify God and partner with families in educating and inspiring their children to impact the world for Jesus Christ- The Strong Rock.
The school is located on 168 acres in Locust Grove and serves 770 students from K3 through 12th grade.
Strong Rock Christian School provides a demanding academic educational program from a Christian perspective for the college-bound student in Henry County and the surrounding commuting area.
This area, with a population of approximately 325,000, supports two private colleges, one state college, and several national and international businesses.
There are 223 students in the high school, grade 9-12.
Our first three graduating classes have numbered 98 total graduates and they have recieved scholarship offers equaling an average of over $70,000 per graduate.
Additionally, approximately 70% of our graduates have been eligible for the HOPE scholarship or Zell Miller Scholarship.

School Notes:

    • Students at Strong Rock must complete a minimum of 12 Service Ministry hours per school year. All of our students have been involved in a minimum of one service ministry project and most of our students have been involved in several projects.  Ministry Projects include: Nicaragua Mission Trip, Costa Rica Mission Trip, Trinadad-Tabago MIssion Trip, Extreme Homebuild, service at the Atlanta Mission, and Great Day of service.  Strong Rock also dedicates one full week where students participate in missions and service around the word.
    • Our Curriculum provides for college prep and honors. To graduate a student must complete a minimum of 25 units: 4 units in English; 4 units in Math; 4 units in Science; 3 Units in Social Studies; 2 Units in a Foreign Language; 4 units of Bible; 1 unit of Fine ARts or Technology; 1 unit in PE/Health and 2 units of General Electives.
