School Notes Overview: |
We are a Catholic parish school, serving economically and ethnically diverse students in grades Kindergarten through eighth. Founded in 1927, the Church is in the center of our school both physically and spiritually. The mission of St. Philip the Apostle Schools is to provide each student an environment in which the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical needs are met. As an essential component of the teaching ministry of St. Philip the Apostle Parish, the school provides an exceptional education by integrating Catholic values with high academic standards. The school embraces diversity and mutual respect and seeks to inspire each student to adopt their unique role as a child of God. Our philosophy of Catholic education is one dedicated to educating the whole person, emphasizing the dignity and spiritual development of each child. The total instructional program is intended to stimulate intellectual, religious, psychological, social and physical growth, thus enabling our students to become responsible Catholics. ...read more
