Columbine Montessori school opened its doors in 1976 and has served the South Jefferson County and Columbine areas since.
The school has been licensed under the same ownership and location since 1984, making it one of the senior preschools in the state.
The school is small, no more than 35 children at any time.
In some contexts small can mean challenge. We have capitalized on small to develop a tightly focused academic program unique among our peers.
We start with the Montessori precepts and materials, a phonetic approach to language arts, and the individual attention that is the hallmark of any quality child development program.
