Democrat Robert Coppola, a recently retired school teacher who has been president of the local Lions Club and a member of the Board of Education and the Town Council, said that energy efficiency, road repairs, passenger rail service and the construction of renovations to the town library will be among his priorities if he wins the Nov. 3 election for mayor.
