St. John School (Closed 2010)

St. John School is a Catholic educational community located in Middletown, Connecticut.
Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1882, this school continues to offer a challenging and enriching curriculum interwoven with an emphasis on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Students, pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, are welcomed into a diverse, family-centered environment and encouraged to develop into kind, compassionate individuals with a life long love of learning.
The function of the HSA is: to help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideals of Catholic education; to promote a close relationship between parents and teachers in regard to education through informational programs of mutual interest; to financially assist the school and school activities through fundraising programs; to foster effective communication and cooperation between parents and teachers; and to improve the conditions and surroundings for the children.
