Deerfield-Windsor School exists to inspire in its students a passion for learning, a commitment to personal integrity, and a sense of social responsibility. As a college preparatory institution, academic excellence must be the focus as early as the elementary grades. Strong emphasis is placed on math and the language arts with a special concentration on the reading process. Students are also challenged through science, social studies, and creative writing. Deerfield-Windsor's Middle/Upper School is committed to the proposition that each child deserves the finest possible educational opportunity. Our middle school serves students in grades 6-8. The upper school serves students in grades 9-12. As an integral part of our school, the program of study is grounded in the college preparatory experience. Here we offer an environment that nurtures the psychological, social, and academic diversity unique to this age group....
