Although history teacher Joan Conrad is leaving her full-time position at Mississippi Valley Christian School, she is grateful for the 30 years of memories and relationships she is taking with her.

Ron and Barb Cowan of Alton are celebrating 40 years of marriage. They exchanged wedding vows on June 27, 1969, at Fundamental Bapist Bible Church in Los Angeles. Her father, The Rev. Dr. M.H. Reynolds officiated at the ceremony.
