St John Lutheran School encourage Christian fellowship as one of the most powerful factors in building character. We want children to enjoy the feeling of "being a child" as they grow and achieve. We are proud of our students. As graduating 8th grade students leave St. John's, they regularly qualify for placement in Chicago's top academically-competitive high schools, such as Luther North, Northside College Prep, Lane Tech and Loyola Academy, to name a few. Our community will know St. John's as a landmark of positive Christian impact, as a vibrant people who are outgoing, involved in the community, and serving the needs of many. They will know us as leaders, and for our quality school. We will invite many to be our guests, and they will be welcomed warmly, embraced by friendly, caring people. St. John's will be known as an approachable place with open doors, where relationships can grow, and people share God's love. Our members will grow in their faith as they are nurtured and enlightened by the Gospel. We will support each other, care for each other, and serve each other.
