    Could you stack plastic cups in a pyramid using only a string contraption and no hands? For middle school students at St. Patrick School in Wadsworth, the challenge looked easier than it actually was considering success required a group effort. Team work was the theme of this special field day enjoyed by sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders on Nov. 9.
  • Wadsworth welcomes new royalty (Gurnee Review)

    Three first-time pageant contestants were crowned queens at the 2009 Miss Wadsworth pageant Saturday at Millburn Central School. They are Miss Wadsworth 2009 Marissa Vleming, Junior Miss Emily Swanson and Little Miss Abigail Bosco. "It still hasn't sunk in yet," said Vleming, 16. On Nov. 7, the queens will compete in the Lake County Community Pageant.
