At Walther Lutheran High School, our purpose in being here is really to cultivate and celebrate our belief in the Triune God as our Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. Walther Lutheran High School ministers to God’s young people by nurturing and educating the total student. Walther assists families by promoting spiritual, academic, social and physical development in a Christ-centered environment. The purpose of Walther Lutheran High School is to provide opportunities for Christians to grow in understanding God's grace and its implications for their lives and for those who do not yet know Christ, to come to know Him as their personal Savior. This school will provide a Christian atmosphere where young people can better see God's plan of salvation for mankind, grow in faith through the study of God's Word, witness for Christ Jesus and worship the one true God as they receive a quality high school education. Tom Byrne of Clarendon Hills was recently named Adventist Hinsdale Hospital's volunteer of the month with nearly 600 hours of service. Byrne started volunteering in 2007, shortly after he was treated for the second time in the hospital's cardiac care unit.

Tom Byrne of Clarendon Hills was recently named Adventist Hinsdale Hospital's volunteer of the month with nearly 600 hours of service. Byrne started volunteering in 2007, shortly after he was treated for the second time in the hospital's cardiac care unit. His duties include stocking medical supplies in patient rooms and taking inventory of critical equipment. He volunteers every Saturday.
