St. Ann School has been serving families in East Harlem since 1926. We call ourselves The Personal School because we know every student individually, and give each child the type of instruction they need to fulfill their potential both academically and spiritually.
We use technology and small group settings to teach every student in a customized way. The core academic subjects are complimented by fine arts, performing arts, music, athletics, language, student leadership, and a wide range of after-school programs to allow each child to discover their individual talents and purpose.
St. Ann is a model school for the Archdiocese of New York and receives enhanced technological support and faculty training.

- MAKING EDUCATION PERSONAL
- Blended Learning is at the core of St. Ann's commitment to personal education. We teach every child in an individual way, and challenge each student at his or her own level. We use software and small group instruction to ensure every student is engaged in the lesson, asks questions, and fully understands concepts. Our method allows teachers to identify students' strengths and weaknesses in each Common Core standard and create custom daily lesson plans. In 2014 St. Ann was selected as the Archdiocese of New York Manhattan Region Model School for Blended Learning. The award recognizes St. Ann faculty and staff for commitment to personalizing education via integrating technology and new teaching methods into the classroom. St. Ann faculty undergo rigorous professional development to enhance their daily lesson plans. Visit our school website to learn more.
