I am now 67 years old and St Michaels school has always been a fond memory. I attended for first and second grade. I recall many wonderful times and could tell many stories. I love being reminded of a place where I always felt cared for and safe. I remember one of my teachers. Her name was Sister Immaculate. Even though my time at the school was short, no other ever compared. The nuns taught all classes and they were always very good to us but also strict in helping us find our boundaries. I was in second grade when JFK was assassinated and we prayed in our classroom most of the afternoon. St Michaels left an impression that has lasted my entire life. I can still hear the large handbell the sister rang when recess was over. As I recall all the memories it reminds me how lucky I was to experience St Michaels in the early 1960,s

We have 3 children in st Michaels, its been good, mrs O'Neal is so great to me! I ask any silly thing and she responds quickly with answers, i think of her as more of a friend and partner to help raise my kids than " a person who works at my kids school ". It is definitely more like a family vibe than any other school. And the teachers listen to you, as a parent that is very important.

St Michael School is a great school for Catholic and non-Catholic, providing students with the environment and tools to become confident young learners. At the leadership level, we have found Principal Beam and the Admissions Director Mrs. O'Neil incredibly clear, communicative, caring and thoughtful with our children and family. Teachers employ the classical method of teaching, and the classrooms are calm and organized. Not only does this school focus on academic excellence, but they have created a warm nurturing environment where children look out for each other and help one another. We are grateful to have found SMS, and be part of the school community.

We have 4 children at St. Michael School and have been so happy with our experience here! I can't imagine going months between seeing my children's teachers, here we get to check in with them as often as we need to. The only downside is that the school is currently in a growing season and that has affected the availability of sports and extra-curricular. They are still present and what we felt was lacking is easily made up for the Rec Dept down the street, so it hasn't been a huge problem. I love how the school meets each child's individual needs. Our oldest is being challenged in new ways, which she needs in order to keep growing. And our youngest is receiving a bit of extra help, which he also needed in order to keep growing. Neither is made to feel better or worse, or odd or different. Each child is unique and SMS recognizes and looks for ways to help them each thrive. Our oldest was just accepted to Northfield Mount Hermon School for high school next year. We wanted to make sure she had a great foundation in order to be able to succeed at NMH and SMS has given her just that.

This will be our 7th year at SMS. I will have 5 children in the school, and every year gets even more exciting. The faculty, staff, students, and parents all contribute to the school's greatness. As a parent, I have no problem feeling included in my children's learning. Everybody is always welcome at SMS and is encouraged to engage in the school happenings. It is obvious how much the staff cares for the students!

Great school, great experience and wonderful students! My family has been so happy here and we are very pleased with all the teachers and staff. Much more than a school community, more like a school family.

Both my boys went to St. Michael School from Pre-K through 6th grade and it was a great stepping stone for them. They received a great education and confidence in themselves and their abilities. The thing I loved the best was the sense of family, I knew my kids were loved and their best interest always came first. We have lots of great memories of St. Michael School!!!

This will be our family's 4th year here. My 3 children will all be in High School this year. We have had a wonderful experience here. There is a solid Catholic foundation due to the amazing principal and parish priest. The school has been consistently growing since we've been here. I love, love, love all the new activities and opportunities SMS has allowed my children, including work at The Retreat farm, archery, photography, and the most memorable few days at Camp High rock! I look forward to each year here at St. Michael's!

Wonderful school, been very happy with our experience here, can't say enough about the staff and how they have helped my children blossom over the years! Really worth the investment, just a fantastic environment for any one looking for a traditional education that will definitely put your child ahead!

My non catholic child has attended since Pre K and aboslutely adores the school. The children are all from families who really care about education and that produces a serious educational environment where learning is done cheerfully and successfully without the usual distractions of the public elementary schools. Academically my child is ahead of the same age kids who attend public school and special programs are available for the gifted children who want to take advantage of them. The staff is totally competent and the school has the look and feel of traditional education where the emphasis is the academic achievement of the children. The religious education is serious but tasteful and not overbearing for non catholics. When people ask me about it my most heartfelt response is that the education at St Michaels is an absolute steal.
