Lakeside students have a fantastic selection of musical opportunities. Instrumentalists can participate in Marching Band, Symphonic or Concert Bands, Jazz and Percussion Ensembles, Pep Band and virtually unlimited solo and ensemble groups for WSMA competitions. Marching Band also offers opportunities for those interested in color guards, as well as banner and honor guard.
Some of our student-related objectives are:
--To maintain a curriculum that has as its focus the inspired, inerrant Word of God
--To cultivate a curriculum that produces students who desire to reach their full potential
--To help students understand that faith is relevant in life and individual gifts should be used for lifelong ministry in homes, churches and communities
Under the coaching of teacher Mr. Steve Lauber, Warrior Forensics has an established history of excellence, ranking in the top 5% of teams in the state after performance at the State Speech Festival each spring in Madison each year since 2010. In 2014 and 2016, they were WFHSA State Champions among 340 competing teams.
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premiere leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. LLHS is the first private school chapter in Wisconsin.
Lakeside is a member of the WIAA and competes in the Capitol North. Boys programs include football, cross country, soccer, wrestling, basketball, track, baseball and golf. Girls programs include cross country, dance, golf, volleyball, basketball, track, soccer and softball.
LLHS offers a wide variety of summer camps for eligible genders & grades (4-9), including Boys & Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Soccer, Wrestling, Distance Running. Warriors Youth programs also include Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball leagues
A secondary school that enrolls about 400 students each year in southcentral Wisconsin, open to all who share our commitment to excellent Christian education.
