SPECIAL EDUCATION DAY SCHOOL
A Welcoming Learning Community for Special Students

For almost 25 years, the Day School at New England Pediatric Care has operated as a Chapter 766 Private School. Our goal is to provide individualized education to severely challenged learners who are also medically fragile. We outline each student’s unique goals in an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and address those goals through the day, in and out of the classroom, for instance at lunch and during “down times” such as Oral Reading time.

A Team Approach
The team approach is the strength of the NEPC Day School. Our professional staff cooperates and interacts across departmental specialties to address student needs and goals consistently. Classroom teachers accommodate necessary support services during the school day. Certified teachers, therapists, and medical staff are trained to meet the needs of children who experience seizures and other medial situations, or who require oxygen, IV medicine or G-tube feedings while at school.
