Welcome to New England Pediatric Care

For more than 25 years physicians as well as families have trusted New England Pediatric Care, also known as NEPC, for highly skilled care for medically fragile children from birth to 22 years old. Affiliated with The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, NEPC has the capabilities of handling a wide range of medical cases from needing more recovery time after a hospital stay to more medically complex cases for children with cognitive delays. NEPC is prepared to take exceptional care of your child when a family needs the most support.

Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Recreation, Special Education

We provide skilled nursing, rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation, and special education services for children who are recovering from serious injury or illness.
Whether your child needs additional recovery time and therapy after a hospital stay, or perhaps requires more in-depth treatment therapies, NEPC will develop the right treatment plan for your child.

NEPC offers a unique family teaching program that provides support and critical care learning for families who will be taking care of their child at home.

SPECIAL EDUCATION DAY SCHOOL A Welcoming Learning Community for Special Students For almost 25 years, the Day School at New England Pediatric Care has operated as a Chapter 766 Private School. Our goal is to provide individualized education to severely challenged learners who are also medically fragile.  We outline each student’s unique goals in an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and address those goals through the day, in and out of the classroom, for instance at lunch and during “down times” such as Oral Reading time.  A Team Approach The team approach is the strength of the NEPC Day School. Our professional staff cooperates and interacts across departmental specialties to address student needs and goals consistently.  Classroom teachers accommodate necessary support services during the school day.  Certified teachers, therapists, and medical staff are trained to meet the needs of children who experience seizures and other medial situations, or who require oxygen, IV medicine or G-tube feedings while at school.
