Rainbow Preschool - Child Care

27 Main St, Townsend, MA, 01469-0146
Rainbow Preschool and Childcare Center opened in 1988. Rainbow was built to meet the needs of young children. At Rainbow we concentrate on helping each child to feel secure. We give each child attention on an individual basis. Because children appreciate being able to predict the order of their days a regular schedule is followed. Within this routine a variety of activities are offered to make each day a new adventure. An exception to this is our infant and toddler room. The needs of an infant are met on their individual schedules. Rainbow provides opportunities for your child to grow socially, emotionally, physically and mentally. Children are able to learn at their own ability level and grow from the variety of experiences which are made available. Rainbow provides a multi-sensory approach to education. We see, we touch, we live and we learn. Our approach is centered on a small group with their teacher. We have in our day music, sharing, circle games and art. We have quiet times and time to play with friends.
