Beacon School provides a therapeutic educational setting designed to meet the needs of special education students. Beacon School provides a safe supportive environment that will help each student to develop independent living skills, academic achievement consistent with his or her potential, and the opportunity to gain sufficient maturity and judgment to be successful in daily living. A full curriculum is offered for students grades six through twelve and all students are required to participate in prevocational and independent living skills course. Beacon also offers an extensive elective course opportunity including woodshop, art, drama, guitar and percussion lessons, and practical cooking skills.
